Our school has a wonderful international community.  We have pupils join us from different countries and our families speak over 10 different languages.

Our staff have worked on the Comenius project that linked us with other schools in Europe.  Mrs Compton, our Year 6 teacher, visited Uganda setting up a link with the Masandi Army Day School.  She later visited Australia exchanging places with a teacher from Goulburn, New South Wales.

Mrs Symons has established a link with a school in Nepal and Mr Bennett changed places with a Canadian teacher for a whole year. All these activities with even more visits to Iceland, Chicago and Italy have enriched our curriculum and involved our pupils in a rich culture of language and arts from all corners of the world.

They learn French, German and Japanese in partnership with Katherine Lady Berkeley School.

Our headteacher, Mrs Lambert accompanied ten other headteachers from South Gloucestershire on a study tour of Singapore.

Our combined efforts have won us the Dfes International School Award presented by the British Council.
