Download the Lower Juniors Induction Pack (PDF)
The lower junior staff try to make the transition from the infants to the juniors a happy one. Encouragement is given to ensure greater independence and responsibility for the individual’s learning, own possessions and behaviour. Parents are welcome to support the teachers in class and on school trips.
We hope you will find this booklet useful. It sets out the content of lessons throughout the year and indicates ways in which you might consider helping your child.
Children identified with special educational needs are supported by a differentiated curriculum to match their understanding and pace. Support is given by the special educational needs co-ordinator, teaching assistants and specialist teaching assistants.
