Alexander Hosea offers an outstanding curriculum filled with exciting opportunities for all pupils. Children experience fun activity weeks, visiting artists, outings and residential trips. Regular enrichment and support activities are also offered after school. These are a voluntary extension of the school curriculum provided by teachers. A range of activities are tailored to meet the needs of all pupils. Activities usually on offer include the arts, sport, dance, care of the environment and habitats and a homework club.
Further activities for pupils and/or their families are offered by community members (e.g. sports clubs, coaches, local artists and other schools). These activities may be free or may be charged for and run for a fixed period. Letters are sent to parents when these become available.
