Out of school care is the provision of child care for working parents. It is charged for and regularly available. For parents at Alexander Hosea out of school care is provided by the Out of School Club that takes place on site in the Community Centre. It runs independently but liaises and establishes good working relationships with the school. Out of School Club staff bring children onto the playground in the morning and collect children from a collection point within school in the evening. Pupils attending the Out of School Club can also access school enrichment activities and homework club.
